Kia Ora! I’m a 25-year-old from New Zealand, recently relocated to Manchester and looking for a full-time live-out nanny position.
I am an active, outdoorsy person who loves staying busy during the day, whether that’s exploring local parks or setting up fun activities. I also have a big creative side, I hold a degree in Design, which in the context of childcare means I absolutely love planning arts and crafts projects, hands-on activities, and imaginative play to keep kids engaged and away from screens! In my quiet time, you’ll usually find me knitting or cooking.
I pride myself on being reliable, organised, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping children learn and grow. I’m adaptable, down-to-earth, and excited to find a lovely Manchester family to support!
My Experience
I’ve spent a lot of time caring for kids over the years in all sorts of settings. During my university holidays, I worked at a busy daycare centre back home in Gisborne, which was fantastic for learning how to manage groups of children, handle daytime routines, and keep things running smoothly. I also had a part-time job as an after-school care worker while I was at school, where I'd organise afternoon activities, supervise outdoor play, and help out with homework. On top of that, I’ve done plenty of casual babysitting for local families, so I'm completely comfortable taking care of dinner routines, getting kids wound down, and handling bedtime.
To make things easy for starting a new role here, I already have my UK Enhanced DBS sorted and on the Update Service, so my background checks are fully up to date and ready to go.
