About Me
Baby girl due early September 2026. We're preparing for my return to work next year — I'm a zoo keeper at Whipsnade Zoo and my husband works in engineering. I have a rolling rota and get some weekday days off, so we're flexible and happy to work out a schedule that suits us all. We're an adventurous family who want our daughter to socialise, explore, and experience the world safely through play. Puddle jumping, nature exploration and creative play are really important to us — we'd love her to develop and enjoy her childhood to the full.
My Requirements
We need 3 or 4 weekdays of childcare per week. My rota repeats every 3 weeks, so we can create a fixed schedule to ensure structure for our daughter and her childminder. Drop off around 7:30am (I'll do mornings), and pickup at 5pm (my husband finishes earlier). We're still working out whether grandparents might help on set days, but we have plenty of time to finalise arrangements before I return to work in September 2027.
