My Experience

I have 2 years experience working with children from a range of ages. My previous work experience includes working in a school SEN setting and with autistic children. During my time in these roles, I gained valuable skills in managing challenging behavior, providing sensory stimulation, and adapting activities to meet the individual needs of each child.

I am currently a Speech and Language Therapist working in both primary and secondary mainstream schools across London.

My Qualifications

Speech and Language Therapist working in schools. Through my role, I have extensive experience working with children with SEND, including autism, developmental language disorder, and social communication difficulties, and I regularly adapt support to meet individual needs in both 1:1 and group settings.

Alongside my clinical role, I have experience babysitting and providing informal childcare for several families, caring for children of different ages. This has included evening and weekend babysitting, as well as supporting routines such as bedtime, play, and homework.

I am confident, responsible, and comfortable managing children’s needs in both structured and informal environments. My professional background in SLT and SEND means I am particularly experienced in supporting communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation, and I bring a calm and child-centred approach to childcare.

My Availability

Regarding my availability, I am currently available evenings and weekends. From July, during the summer holidays, I will be available for the majority of the time and can be flexible to work around the parent’s needs depending on the role.
