About Me
I am a twenty nine year old qualified teacher, who lives in North Shields, and have taught children ages 3-11 for the past seven years and I am looking to support children during the Summer holidays. My speciality is English (including early reading, writing and oracy skills), however due to being a primary school teacher I have taught every subject across the national curriculum. I am a heavy believer positive reinforcement and children spending time outside to develop them both academically as well as holistically, believing that each child can achieve their full potential in a variety of ways. My personal skills include patience, organisation and communication with both children and their parents/carers, time management and I have always been commended for my strong behaviour management skills and relationships with all stakeholders. I also love animals and currently have a Ragdoll kitten and ten year old German Shepherd. Finally, I am a keen swimmer and whole heartedly believe that there should be a balance between screen time and interactive offline play.
