My Experience

I have several years of experience working within a primary school setting, providing dedicated 1:1 support for children with special educational needs. My role has involved adapting learning activities, implementing individual support strategies, promoting emotional regulation, and helping children develop confidence, independence, and positive relationships. Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals has strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. As a parent of two children, I also bring valuable personal insight, patience, and understanding of child development, enabling me to build strong, empathetic relationships and support each child’s individual needs effectively.

My Qualifications

I currently hold the following qualifications-

Supporting Teaching and Learning Level 2.
Understanding Autism level 2.
Paediatric first aid level 3.
Health and safety in the work place.
Safeguarding within a school setting.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate also.

I am currently studying Understanding Difficult behaviour in children.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends depending on the requirements. This includes out of term time.

I do not drive so school drop offs or pick ups are only available to my local schools.
