My Experience
I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to older children, including both single-child households and families with multiple children. My experience includes daytime care, evening babysitting, and overnight care, allowing me to adapt to a variety of family routines and children's individual needs.
Through my midwifery training, I have gained extensive hands-on experience caring for newborn babies, as well as a strong understanding of infant feeding, nutrition, newborn care, and recognising when a baby may need additional support. My studies have also provided me with training in basic life support and first aid, giving me the confidence to respond calmly and appropriately in an emergency.
Alongside my professional experience, I regularly help care for my 18-month-old niece. Spending time with her has further developed my confidence in supporting toddlers through play, daily routines, meal times, and bedtime, while creating a fun, nurturing, and safe environment.
I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and attentive, and I always aim to ensure children feel happy, secure, and well cared for while giving parents complete peace of mind.
My Qualifications
I am currently a student midwife at Anglia Ruskin University and hold an undergraduate degree in Law, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Childhood Studies. I also hold an enhanced DBS check and am trained in basic life support and first aid.
My Availability
My availability varies as I balance my studies at Anglia Ruskin University with my clinical placements in both hospital and community settings. However, I always do my best to be as flexible as possible and can often accommodate evenings, weekends, and other times depending on my placement schedule.
