About Me
My passion is to build confidence in pupils so they soar!
The child is always at heart of my practice and I love to form a positive, trusting relationship with my pupil first. From this I can build a holistic, purposeful curriculum based on their interests, strength and needs. Each child is unique and special and so is my approach to their learning. It is important for me to plan together with children, involving them and giving them ownership of their learning.
I take a trauma-informed approach to learning, starting where the child is and building achievable steps to success. Kindness, patience, compassion and flexibility are all crucial to me when delivering learning.
My Experience
I have 16 years of teaching experience, both in class and tutoring. During my time as a classroom teacher I taught all primary school age groups but my main experience was with EYFS and KS1 children, building confidence and strong foundations for learning.
Throughout my teaching practice I have had extensive experience of teaching children with a wide variety of SEND profiles, including ADHD, ASD, non-verbal pupils and those with social and emotional difficulties. Since 2022 I have been applying my skills and knowledge to tutoring children who are unable to attend school, using a holistic, trauma-informed approach to help children to thrive and reach their goals.
I also have three years of nannying experience, caring for two young children, leading with kindness and patience.

Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary)
My Availability
I am available after school and in the evenings during the week (from Monday to Friday) and all day at the weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
Tutoring - £40 per hour
Babysitting - £16 per hour
