My Summary

My Experience

Although my childcare experience has been gained in a personal setting, caring for children has been a part of my life from a young age. I began helping to care for family friends’ children when I was around nine years old and have continued to look after children over the years. Through these experiences, I have developed patience, responsibility, and a genuine understanding of children’s individual needs and personalities.

I have experience supporting children with everyday routines, preparing meals and snacks, organising fun and engaging activities, reading stories, playing games, encouraging creativity through arts and crafts, and helping children feel safe, happy, and settled. I understand the importance of creating a nurturing environment where children can learn through play while feeling valued and supported.

My experience has also taught me the importance of building trusting relationships with both children and their families. I believe good communication, consistency, and kindness are the foundation of providing excellent childcare, and I am committed to giving every child the care, attention, and encouragement they deserve.

My Qualifications

I am currently in the process of becoming a registered childminder. Although I do not yet hold formal childcare qualifications, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for children in a family setting. I am committed to continuing my professional development and completing all required training, including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, and any other courses needed to provide the highest standard of care.
