My Experience

I’ve been involved in children’s ministry for over 10 years, and I’ve spent more than seven years in my current Sunday School role, teaching and supporting a mixed?age group of 5–11?year?olds, with class sizes ranging from 4 to 12 children each week. This has given me strong experience in planning sessions, managing varied ages at once, and creating a safe, encouraging environment where children can learn and grow.

I also have hands?on experience as a mother’s help, supporting a mum with her newborn and her two?year?old while their father recovered from minor surgery. My role included helping with daily routines, offering practical support, and maintaining a calm, steady atmosphere during a busy period for the family.

In addition, I was a regular caregiver for a family member, managing day to day routines, activities, and general duties. These experiences have helped me feel confident caring for a wide range of ages, from babies to older children, and comfortable supporting families with practical care and a calm, reliable presence.

My Qualifications

I hold Level 2 qualifications in Counselling Skills and Customer Service. Although these are not childcare?specific, they have strengthened my communication, listening, and organisation, which support my work with children and families.

My Availability

I’m based in Burgess Hill and currently work part?time, so I’m looking for flexible babysitting opportunities that fit around my schedule. I hold a full UK driving licence and can travel locally. I'm available for 1-2 days a week, Thursday, Fridays or Saturdays but I’m happy to chat about what you need and see if I can move my avilability around to suit your needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

I offer a clear hourly rate for babysitting, and I’m happy to discuss fees based on the length of booking and the family’s needs.
