About Me
Hi, my name is Mia. I have recently finished my A Levels and am looking to develop my skills while providing support to families in my community.
Growing up in a single-parent household and being the older sister to a 5-year-old and a 13-year-old, I understand first-hand how demanding childcare can be and how valuable an extra pair of hands can be. These experiences have helped me become patient, responsible, and adaptable when caring for children of different ages.
I genuinely enjoy providing reliable, caring, and attentive childcare in a safe, nurturing environment. I strive to create a fun, engaging, and positive experience for every child while always prioritising their safety, well-being, and individual needs. Whether it's helping with playtime, homework, meal preparation, or bedtime routines, I aim to provide parents with peace of mind, knowing their children are in safe and caring hands.
My Experience
I have several years of hands-on childcare experience through both family responsibilities and paid babysitting.
+ Caring for my younger sister – I have helped care for my 5-year-old sister since she was a baby, supporting with feeding, playtime, bedtime routines, and day-to-day care. This has given me valuable experience in understanding children's needs at different stages of development.
+ Paid babysitting – I have worked as a babysitter for family friends, regularly caring for children aged 8 and 10. My responsibilities included supervising activities, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, and ensuring a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
+ English GCSE tutor – During school, I volunteered as an English tutor for younger students, helping them improve their reading, writing, and confidence. This role strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to support children with their learning.
+ Caring for younger relatives – I have also looked after my baby and toddler cousins, giving me experience caring for younger children and adapting to their individual routines and needs.

I have recently completed A Levels in Religious Studies, History, and English Literature at The King's (The Cathedral) School. I am currently awaiting my final results, and I have been predicted grades of ABB.
My Availability
I am highly available and flexible, as I have recently finished Sixth Form and am currently not in employment. This allows me to adapt easily to different schedules, including evenings, weekends, and short-notice requests where needed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I provide flexible fee rates, which can be discussed and agreed depending on the type of care required and hours needed.
