Hello! My name is Nadia, and I am a mum of two children aged 9 and 6, living in Swanley, Kent. I run Little Makers Academy, where I provide creative educational activities including arts and crafts, crochet, sewing, and Spanish lessons for children.
I am passionate about creating a warm, safe and nurturing environment where children feel happy, confident and inspired to learn through play and creativity. I enjoy helping children develop new skills, build confidence and express themselves through fun, hands-on activities.
I am currently completing my Ofsted childminder registration and additional training so that I can soon offer registered childcare services alongside my educational programmes.
I pride myself on being patient, reliable, organised and caring, and I look forward to supporting local families with high-quality childcare.
My Experience
As a mother of two children, I have many years of hands-on childcare experience. I also run Little Makers Academy, where I plan and deliver engaging educational sessions for children of different ages and abilities.
My experience includes supervising children in creative learning environments, supporting home-educated families, teaching arts and crafts, crochet, sewing and beginner Spanish, encouraging positive behaviour, and adapting activities to suit individual children's needs and interests.
I enjoy helping children grow in confidence while providing a safe, structured and enjoyable environment where they can learn, play and thrive.
My Qualifications
• TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People (RQF)
• Enhanced DBS check (new Ofsted DBS application in progress as part of my childminder registration)
• Ofsted childminder registration currently in progress
• Paediatric First Aid training booked/in progress (or update this once completed)
I am committed to continuing my professional development and completing all required training to provide the highest standard of childcare.
