About Me
Hello! I'm Nadia, a mum of two wonderful children aged 9 and 7, based in Swanley, Kent, and the founder of Little Makers Academy.
I provide a warm, nurturing and creative learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, create and grow through hands-on experiences. My approach combines childcare with meaningful educational activities, helping children build confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.
Little Makers Academy specialises in creative and practical learning, including Art, Crafts, Spanish, Sewing, Crochet, Science, Nature Studies, Cooking, Gardening, STEM activities, Reading, Creative Writing and Emotional Wellbeing. I also enjoy supporting home-educated children by providing engaging sessions that complement their learning at home.
My childcare setting follows themed days throughout the week, allowing children to enjoy a balanced routine with outdoor walks, creative projects, educational activities, free play and opportunities to develop important life skills such as tidying up after themselves, teamwork and responsibility.
Healthy vegan and pescatarian meal options are available, and I work closely with parents to meet each child's dietary and individual needs.
My Ofsted childminder registration is currently in its final stages, and I look forward to welcoming families looking for a caring, creative and educational home-based setting where every child feels valued and inspired.
My Experience
I have many years of practical childcare experience as a mother of two and as the founder and teacher at Little Makers Academy.
I regularly plan and deliver educational sessions for children of different ages, including Spanish, arts and crafts, crochet, sewing and creative learning activities. I enjoy adapting lessons to suit each child's interests, abilities and learning style, creating an inclusive environment where children can learn at their own pace.
I have experience supporting home-educated families and believe that learning should be enjoyable, practical and confidence-building. My setting encourages creativity, curiosity, independence and kindness while providing a safe and structured environment where children feel supported.
I continue to develop my professional knowledge through ongoing training and am committed to providing high-quality childcare and education for every family I work with.

My Availability
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
Childcare from £9.50 per hour (subject to minimum booking and availability).
