Hi, I’m Mufleha! I’m 18 and I’d describe myself as caring, patient, friendly and reliable. I genuinely love being around children and enjoy creating a calm, happy and fun environment where they feel comfortable, listened to and supported.
I’m someone who likes to get involved rather than just supervise. I love playing games, reading, doing crafts and creative activities, and getting to know each child’s personality and interests. I’m also happy to follow their usual routines and help with things like meals and light tidying.
I’m quite easy-going and approachable, and I always try to make both children and parents feel comfortable and reassured. I’d love the opportunity to meet some lovely families and help make their lives a little easier!
My Experience
I currently work full-time in a nursery as an Apprentice Early Years Educator, where I get hands-on experience caring for children of different ages. I help with daily routines, meals, nappy changes, sleep routines, activities, creative play and supporting children’s learning and development.
Alongside this, I babysit and nanny on the side and have cared for children from newborns to 5-year-olds. I’ve also done longer nannying stays, including looking after a newborn and 5-year-old for several days and nights, so I’m comfortable with longer days and taking responsibility for children’s routines.
I’ve cared for my niece since she was a newborn (she’s now 5), supported a profoundly deaf student for a full academic year, and have experience tutoring children and supporting home-educated learners.
My Qualifications
• Level 3 Health & Social Care
• Currently working towards my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification through my nursery apprenticeship
• Level 3 Applied Science and A-level Psychology
• 8 GCSEs, including English, Mathematics, and Separate Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
My Availability
I currently work in a nursery around 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday, so I’m mainly available outside of these hours. I’m flexible with evenings and weekends and happy to discuss different times depending on what you need.
