My Experience

My experience spans university teaching, private tutoring and school-based SEN support. I worked as an Assistant Professor for nearly two years before moving into education and psychology-focused roles in the UK, and I now provide private tutoring alongside working as a Teaching Assistant and SEN Behaviour Mentor.

I have supported children and young people both 1:1 and in group settings, including learners with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication and language difficulties, and behavioural or emotional challenges. My work has involved academic and learning support, maintaining engagement and focus, adapting explanations and activities, supporting emotional regulation, managing challenging behaviour and helping learners develop greater confidence and independence.

Working across different ages, abilities and educational settings has taught me that the same approach does not work for every learner. I therefore adapt my communication, pace and level of support according to the individual, while maintaining a calm, consistent and encouraging learning environment.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £35.00 per hour

My standard fee is £35 per hour. Rates may vary depending on the type of support required, such as SEN support, tutoring, or longer-term arrangements. I am happy to discuss requirements and agree a suitable rate based on the child’s individual needs.
