About Me
I’m a fully qualified examiner and teacher with QTS. I am in the DBS update service.
I specialise in tuition for English Language and Literature at GCSE and SAT English. I can prep for 11+ exams and other entrance exams. I am familiar with all exam boards.
Working with home school children I can build a curriculum for English Skills to prep for your chosen exam.
My Experience
I have 16 years of experience in school across the U.K. and abroad. I have taught in mixed comprehensive state schools and independent private/grammar schools, including same sex school.
In the Kingdom of Bahrain I was fortune enough to teach members of the royal family.
I’ve taught child actors privately on TV sets and theatre.
I teach predominantly online and work for an online school. I am offering group face to face tuition in the Luton area at present.
My Qualifications
I have a PGCE in Secondary English with QTS. I have registered for the DBS update service.

Monday 5-6 Edexcel English Language group 1
Monday 6:15-7:15 Edexcel English Language group 2
Tuesday 5-6 Edexcel English Literature group 1 (dependent on texts)
Tuesday 6:15-7:15 AQA English Literature group 1
Wednesday 5-6 AQA English Language group 1
Wednesday 6:15-7:15 AQA English Language group 2
1-2-1 tuition is available during the day and on weekends. With some evening availability. Please ask for details.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
Group tuition:
£15 per hour for 1-5 students per group
£10 per hour for 6-10 students per group
One to one tuition:
£40 per hour
