About Me
Hi, my name is Caitlin! I am 21 years old and am staying in Newquay until the end of September. I love children and am often around them especially recently as three of my cousins have just had babies and have other young children! I love the feeling of being in a full house. I grew up with two younger siblings and a house full of animals. At one point we had four dogs, two cats, two tortoises, a snake, a bird and a horse! I currently go to Durham University and before that spent two years travelling and working at a nursery in between. I am very adventurous and outdoorsy come rain or shine. I think the reason I love spending time with children is that they remind me what endless creativity, curiosity and adventure feel like. I am an actor as well from time to time so playing pretend in an imaginary world is basically what I have done as a job previously! I would be more than happy to set up a call or grab a coffee to get to know you and your children previous to working if that is something you would like :)
My Experience
I worked at Little Barn Owls nursery in West Sussex for just over two years with children between the ages of 0 and 5. I did one on one care with SEN children including children with disabilities in wheelchairs with feeding tubes. I have also worked with one child who is non-verbal autistic long term since he was 12 and he is now 16. This has been one of the most rewarding times of my childcare career and I miss his little face everyday now that I have moved away. I am able to do bedtime and overnight sitting. I also have experience with looking after young babies and know how to bottle feed, nappy change etc. I have my own car with me and am complete flexibility with time. I have basic first aid training and an enhanced DBS check.

- Babysitting from £12.71 per hour
I am quite relaxed with my fees, I have a starting rate of minimum wage (£12.71 an hour) and if you are happy with how I am doing and want to keep me on as a regular then maybe we could discuss a raise.
