My Summary

My Experience

For the past two years, I’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays. My role involved providing one-to-one support, encouraging learning through play, promoting independence, and creating a safe, positive environment where every child could thrive.

Before this, I volunteered in my church’s children’s ministry, helping to supervise and engage children through games, activities, and learning sessions. I also have experience in support work, assisting elderly individuals with their daily routines while providing compassionate and respectful care.

These experiences have helped me develop patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to each individual’s unique needs. I genuinely enjoy caring for others and always strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment.

My Qualifications

I have in-house First Aid and Safeguarding training gained through my role as a Teaching Assistant, along with additional training in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), behaviour management, and child welfare. I have also completed training for support work, including health and safety, moving and handling, and person-centred care. My practical experience and training have equipped me with the skills to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for both children and vulnerable individuals.
