About Me
Hello, I'm Stacyann, the owner of MySafeHaven Childminding.
I am a proud mother and grandmother, and caring for children has always been my passion. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, valued and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves.
My dream has always been to create a warm, home-from-home environment where children can feel secure, build confidence and enjoy learning through play. At MySafeHaven Childminding, I strive to provide a caring and nurturing space where every child is treated with kindness, respect and patience.
I enjoy planning fun, engaging activities that encourage children to explore, be creative and develop at their own pace. Whether we're reading stories, getting messy with arts and crafts, exploring nature, baking together or visiting local parks and the library, I believe childhood should be filled with happy memories, laughter and meaningful learning experiences.
Building trusting relationships with children and their families is at the heart of everything I do. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident when leaving their child in someone else's care, and I am committed to providing a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where both children and parents feel part of the MySafeHaven family.

My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages in childcare, education and healthcare settings.
Throughout my career, I have worked as a Nursery Room Manager, Nursery Deputy Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), SEN Teaching Assistant and one-to-one SEN Tutor, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both in schools and at home to build confidence, develop key learning skills and achieve their individual goals.
I also spent 9 years working on the Children's Wards at King's College Hospital, caring for children and supporting families. This invaluable experience strengthened my knowledge of children's health, wellbeing and individual care needs while working closely with healthcare professionals.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care, am Paediatric First Aid trained, DBS checked, and registered with tiney, an Ofsted-approved childminding agency. My extensive experience enables me to provide high-quality, inclusive care tailored to each child's individual needs in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn and thrive.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care and over 20 years of childcare experience. I have completed childminding trainings and regularly undertake professional development through Noodle Now. My training includes Paediatric First Aid, Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Child Protection and Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, SEND and Inclusion, Behaviour Management, EYFS, and other early years courses. I am committed to continually updating my knowledge to provide the highest standard of care and education for every child.
My Availability
MySafeHaven Childminding is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and will be opening on 20th July 2026.
I provide full-day childcare in a warm, safe and nurturing home-from-home environment. I am open throughout the year, including term time and school holidays (excluding bank holidays and planned annual leave).
I accept Government-funded childcare and Tax-Free Childcare. I also offer local school pick-up and drop-off (subject to availability).

My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
My fees are £9.00 per hour or £90.00 per full day.
Fees include:
Breakfast, Healthy snacks and cooked lunch.

Outdoor play and local outings
