About Us
Harris Primary Academy Beckenham opened in September 2015 with its first Reception classes. We will be taking an intake of 60 Reception children each year until our Primary is complete.Our school’s ethos is that all children can make progress and achieve and it is our job as educators to do everything possible to enable this to happen. We want all children to be safe and happy so that they can make the best possible progress and be fully prepared and ready for their next stages in life. Children at HPA Beckenham will experience a full and engaging curriculum which gives them opportunities to explore and understand the world around them, so they can develop the skills and knowledge that they need to succeed.
We will be one of Beckenham’s newest schools, but are part of a Federation of Free Schools and Academies with an established track record in London.
Our aim is to make sure that, from the first day of their education, our pupils have a truly happy experience of school. This means teaching them to become confident learners and nurturing each child’s personality and character.
Our Childcare Provision
Childcare is run by an outside provider called "My Time" from our classroom space here on site. It opens for breakfast club 7.30am - 9.00am and in the afternoon from 3.30pm - 6.00pm. Breakfast and tea time snacks are offered along with a wide variety of engaging activities including indoor and outdoor play.
