My Summary

My Experience

Five years of informal childcare within my own community, alongside professional experience as a Teaching Assistant supporting SEN pupils at Endeavour Academy. I've spent years designing and delivering creative sessions for children aged 5–18 across schools, museums and community programmes (including Royal Museums Greenwich, the V&A and the Natural History Museum), so I'm very used to holding space for a wide range of ages, personalities and needs — including neurodivergent children, drawing partly on my own lived experience.

My Qualifications

Trained in trauma-informed practice, with completed coursework including Psychological First Aid: Supporting Children and Young People (UK Health Security Agency), Working Supportively with Refugees: Principles, Skills and Perspectives (University of Glasgow), and Caring for Children Moving Alone: Protecting Unaccompanied and Separated Children (University of Strathclyde & CELCIS). I also bring hands-on experience supporting SEN pupils in a school setting.

My Availability

My availability is flexible and works around my freelance art practice — I can often be available at short notice, and if things are a good fit for the child, the family and myself, I'm happy to move toward something more regular. As a freelancer I can generally work around what's needed.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour

My hourly rate starts from £16, depending on the number of children, hours and any additional responsibilities. As a freelancer I'm happy to discuss a rate that works for both of us, especially for regular or longer-term arrangements. Happy to have a chat first to work out what's fair for everyone.
