My Experience

I am 25 years old and have experience working with children since I was 13. I worked as a babysitter, tutor, and daycare attendant as a teenager. During university, and for a few years after, I worked as a full-time nanny, as well as part-time tutoring. I was a nanny for an older child/pre-teen, as well as infants, toddlers, and primary school age. One child I nannied for 3+ years had autism. I also have experience as a primary school teaching assistant (including SEN), and a nursery practitioner. I have a DBS registered with the update service, and can provide references if needed. Throughout my time as a nanny, I was doing primarily childcare at-home. I followed the children’s set routines, prepared activities, snacks, and meals, and bathed the children and put them to bed. I also completed small daily chores, like cleaning up any toys or activities, washing bedding and bath towels, putting away children’s laundry or making beds, and washing up any dishes & kitchen counters. I also traveled with the family on holidays (including abroad). In the US, I would regularly drive the children to and from school or other activities, but currently I am still doing lessons to obtain a UK driving license.

My Qualifications

I have a DBS certificate registered to the update service, and have completed child safeguarding training.

My Availability

I am available any time, except overnight.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

I am flexible with rates.
