My Experience

Looking after children has always been a big part of my life. As one of the oldest in my family, I have helped care for my five younger siblings from a young age. This has involved everything from preparing meals and helping with homework to supervising playtime, bedtime routines, and making sure they were safe, happy, and well cared for. Caring for them has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt to each child's individual personality and needs.
I am also a paediatric nursing student, which has strengthened my knowledge and practical skills in caring for children of different ages. Through my training, I have learned how to communicate effectively with children and their families, recognise their physical and emotional needs, and provide compassionate, child-centred care. I genuinely enjoy working with children and creating a positive, safe, and supportive environment where they can feel comfortable and thrive.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, achieving D*DD. I also have the following GCSE qualifications:

Mathematics – Grade 5
English Language – Grade 7
English Literature – Grade 6
Combined Science – Grade 4
Religious Education (RE) – Grade 6

I am currently a paediatric nursing student, where I am developing my clinical knowledge and practical skills in caring for infants, children, young people, and their families.

My Availability

I have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays. As a paediatric nursing student, my availability may vary during placement periods, but I will always provide advance notice of my schedule and do my best to accommodate bookings.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

+ £2 for overnight or before school service
