My Summary
About Me
I am a caring, reliable, and experienced childcare professional with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. I pride myself on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to thrive.
I hold a degree in Psychology with a focus on Child Psychology, giving me a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing. I am also qualified in Paediatric First Aid and Child Safeguarding, ensuring I can provide the highest standard of care while always prioritising children’s safety.
I currently manage an after-school club, where I oversee daily activities, support children’s social and emotional development, and build positive relationships with both children and their families. Alongside this, I have extensive experience working one-to-one with children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), adapting my approach to meet each child’s individual needs and helping them reach their full potential.
I hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check, giving parents added confidence and peace of mind.
Above all, my greatest experience comes from being a parent myself. Having raised my two children, now aged 23 and 16, I understand first-hand the importance of patience, consistency, kindness, and unconditional support. Parenting has taught me invaluable skills that no qualification alone can provide, and it remains the most rewarding and meaningful experience of my life.
I am committed to providing dependable, compassionate, and professional childcare, ensuring every child in my care feels happy, secure, and inspired to learn and grow.
I am here to help a single parent or family lighten the load of parenting and running a home. Being a single mother myself I know the struggles of doing it all alone, running a home , working a full time job as well as trying to balance children’s weekend activities and trying to not loose my identity.

* Preparing meals and snacks for the children.
* Feeding babies and young children.
* Changing nappies and assisting with toilet training.
* Bathing and dressing children.
