Hi, I’m Rachel!
I’m 20 years old and currently studying Musical Theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
I love working with children and really enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and interests. Whether that’s getting creative, playing games, reading stories or simply keeping them company, I always aim to make them feel happy, comfortable and safe.
I’d describe myself as friendly, reliable and patient, and I always try to bring lots of energy, kindness and a calm approach to every family I work with.
I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children, so I’m always happy to have a chat, meet beforehand or arrange a trial babysitting session if that would help you feel more comfortable.

My Experience
Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience caring for and working with children in a variety of settings.
Nursery experience – supporting young children in a busy nursery environment, helping with play, routines and creating a safe, positive atmosphere.
Drama teacher – teaching children aged 4–18 at a weekly drama club, planning engaging sessions, encouraging confidence and adapting activities for different age groups.
Musical Theatre training – as a student at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, I’m naturally creative, energetic and confident keeping children entertained through games, storytelling, music and imaginative play.
I’m also DBS checked and registered with the DBS Update Service for extra peace of mind.

My Availability
• Summer Holidays
I’m available most days throughout the summer, including weekdays and weekends. I do have a few holidays planned, but I’m happy to share those dates if you get in touch.
• During University Term Time
As I’m studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, my availability changes slightly during term:
• Monday–Friday: Evenings
• Saturday: From 2:00pm onwards
• Sunday: Available all day
• School Holidays & Half Terms
During school holidays and half terms, I’m usually available any day, any time, making it much easier to help with childcare throughout the day as well as evenings.
If you’re looking for regular childcare, occasional babysitting or a last-minute helping hand, feel free to get in touch and I’ll always do my best to help!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
Standard babysitting: £10–£12 per hour
Newborn/infant care: £14–£18 per hour
Overnight stays: £50–£70 per night
Multiple children: +£2 per child per hour
Late nights (after 10 PM): +£2 per hour
