Registered Childminder Job in Lonon
About Me
I'm a single mother to a 4 year old girl. I'm not working much at the moment. But I do a bit of massage jobs from home from time to time. Once my daughter starts reception in September, I am planning on taking some courses and eventually to start my own business.
My Requirements
I'm looking for someone else (except for the friends I got that sometimes help me out) to ask for help with caring for my daughter when needed.
This would usually be during school holidays and sometimes after school or in the weekend.
Preferably it would be with someone who can have her at their home if needed. But not necessarily, as taking her to the playground, activities and doing day trips out can totally work too. Most of the time, what I would need to do, when needing childcare, will be at home, but not always. So sometimes caring for her at our home, would be possible.
Ideally I'm looking for someone local, as usually I will only need childcare for a few hours and at times, I might ask if short notice care would be possible.
I'm also looking into the possibility of finding someone to be doing school drop offs and pickups. This could easily be another position and don't necessarily have to be the same person doing the childcare. So if this would be interest to you, let me know what you would charge and I will see if I can afford it. It would basically entail picking my daughter up from ours (in Manor House) and dropping her off at school (Parkwood Primary) by 8.45am Mon to Fri. Then picking her up from school at 3.15pm on a Monday and 4.15pm on Tuesday to Thursday (as she got after school clubs these days) and bring her back home. On a Friday my friend would usually pick her up and bring her to drama class and if she can't do it, I don't mind doing that. As also I would like to have the opportunity to speak to teachers etc..
As it's not like I can't do the drop offs and pickups myself due to work or whatever, it's more a luxury than a necessity. But it would add a lot to both my and my daughters standard of living. As due to my ADHD, my time keeping skills are appalling and I'm already rather stressed about having to make all these times every day. As every time I got an important time to make, it gets me very stressed and in turn, brings a lot of stress to my daughter.
I'm also open to someone who is able to only do some of these days..

Have only used Shereen's services once, so far.. But will definitely ask her to care for my daughter again.!
My daughter had a great time there and did not want to leave when I came to pick her up. Even if we were going off to a play date with one of her best friends from nursery. So praise from my little one, indeed.!
I get the impression that Shereen is very dedicated to her profession and that she has invested greatly into this career, in all areas possible. You can tell that she is committed to providing outstanding service and as she got her own small child, she got great insite into what a parent is looking for and need, in order to feel safe and happy, leaving their child with a childminder.
Somethings extremely important to me is communication and Shereen has been excellent in this regard, every step of the way. Actually, she is greatly organised and as you can see on her profile on this site, got everything in order and up to date.
What can be quite hard to come by though, is someone who is so organised and at the same time being laid back, flexible and understanding. In the way I found her to be, when I was running very late to drop my daughter off. I'm obviously not saying she is always able to be so flexible or that anyone should take advantage of her nice and accommodating nature! Just saying that for me, she is a great combination of organised and laid back.
Can't leave out to mention either, how she comes across as a highly caring and nurturing person and someone who children naturally will be drawn to and feel comfortable and secure with.
