Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a friendly, caring and reliable childcare professional based in West Yorkshire with a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and flourish. For your peace of mind, I hold an enhanced DBS check, a Paediatric First Aid certificate, a full UK driving licence and have my own car, making me flexible and reliable for school runs, outings and travelling to your family.

My Experience
I currently work as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery. I worked in the baby room for just under a year, caring for children aged 4 months to 1½ years. I have now been working in the toddler room for the past three months, caring for children aged 1½ to 3 years, and I continue to work there. I also support the preschool room whenever needed, giving me experience working with children across a wide range of ages.
My role includes supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, carrying out observations, following the EYFS framework, supporting daily routines, nappy changing, supporting sleep routines and building positive relationships with both children and their families.
Alongside my nursery experience, I have completed placements with children of different ages throughout my degree and have experience providing babysitting for families. My degree has given me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding and how to support every child to reach their full potential.
I genuinely love working with children and find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow in confidence, develop new skills and reach important milestones. I always strive to provide the same level of care, patience and attention that I would want for my own family, helping every child feel happy, secure and supported while in my care.

My Availability
I am currently available for childcare on Saturday mornings and afternoons. I am happy to provide weekend babysitting, nannying or occasional childcare and can be flexible depending on your family’s needs.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My standard rate is £15 per hour, although this may vary depending on the type of childcare required, number of children, hours and travel involved.
I am happy to discuss regular nannying arrangements, occasional babysitting, evenings, weekends and holiday childcare.
