About Me
I am a mature primary school teacher and mother of two wonderful teenage daughters.
With my daughters now being independent and enjoying their own lives, I would love to offer my experience and time to local families who might need a helping hand now and then.
My Experience
I am experienced in teaching all ages of primary school in all areas from phonics through to Year 6 SATs. I am particularly enthusiastic about teaching through drama where I can. I believe this makes learning fun and memorable for the children. I have worked extensively with children across the SEND spectrum, including adapting learning, communication and classroom approaches to ensure every child can access the curriculum.
My Qualifications
I have 8 A-Cs in GCSEs, I hold a distinction in a BTEC National Diploma for Performing Arts and I have 2 years of a completed BA in Primary Education (I am planning to complete my final year in 2027).
My Availability
I run after school clubs on Tuesday's (eco-warriors) and Thursday's (drama), so am free from 5pm.
All other days I am back in Ware from 4pm.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
