Hi - I’m Indi, a caring, patient and creative childcare professional, as well as a proud mum to my amazing 5 year old son.
Working with children has always been something I’ve genuinely loved. I enjoy watching them learn, grow and become confident in themselves as well as getting them involved in activities that spark their imagination. You’ll often find me doing arts and crafts, baking, sensory play, getting outdoors or creating fun activities that are both enjoyable and help children develop new life skills.
I’d describe myself as kind, empathetic and easy to get along with. I know how important it is for parents to feel completely comfortable leaving their little ones with someone, and that’s something I never take for granted. Whether it’s supporting a newborn overnight, entertaining energetic toddlers or helping school aged children after a busy day, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, happy and cared for.
My Experience
I have around 5 years of professional experience working in nursery settings, schools, alongside babysitting for families with children of different ages, including being an eldest sibling to 4 younger siblings so have had plenty of lifetime experience also!
I’m Level 3 qualified in Early Years, Paediatric First Aid trained and also hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STLS), which has given me experience working with children in Key Stage 1, so I’m confident caring for children across a range of ages. This has increased my understanding of how best to teach and guide children through school work as well as the correct and appropriate language to use whilst doing so.
Being a mum myself has also taught me so much. I understand the little things that matter to parents – knowing their child is happy, sticking to routines, communicating well and treating every child with patience, kindness and understanding.
I genuinely love what I do and I always aim to create a calm, yet fun environment where children feel comfortable being themselves and parents feel reassured that they’re in safe hands.
