About Me
A mature, warm, calm and caring British nanny with over nine years' experience looking after children in private homes in the UK and abroad. I'm available for babysitting and temporary nanny work.
Alongside childcare, I'm a photographer and a Reiki practitioner, and a great animal lover, dogs especially. Pets and pet care are always welcome in any role. I'm currently travelling but am in London throughout August and available for babysitting work, even at short notice. I am also available for temporary nanny positions (preferably live-in) for up to 3 months.
I hold a current DBS (July 2026) and my application for the enhanced DBS is going through in August. I'm happy to travel with families, and I bring a naturally warm and reassuring presence to any home.
My Experience
I've had sole charge of twin girls aged seven and a boy of five for a family in Amsterdam, and provided specialist weekend care for a one-year-old who was still receiving care after being born prematurely, returning to become his full-time nanny a few years later. I've also spent seven years as a trusted overnight, day and evening nanny for a busy London family, looking after their daughter between the ages of one and eight. So I'm comfortable with everything from young children to older ones, and I have the flexibility that family life often needs.
I'm reliable, discreet and unflappable, with a gentle, patient and present manner. My goal is for children to feel safe, happy and settled with me. I love creating a calm bedtime routine and reading stories with real enthusiasm. I enjoy park taking children on outings, including visits to the park, but I'm just as happy filling a rainy afternoon with games, crafts and adventures.
My Qualifications
HND Photography, BTEC Fashion, GCSE's English, Maths, History, French, Spanish, Photography, Religious Studies. Paediatric first aid First Aid Certificate (refreshing in early August.) Currently taking the UK Department for Education's early years child development training.
My Availability
Available for short term babysitting / nanny roles throughout August and longer term temporary nanny roles from September.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £22.00 per hour (gross)
