Hello, I'm Celina, a qualified Mathematics teacher with over 13 years' experience teaching in the UK, IB, US and Australian curricula. I provide personalised tuition for KS2, KS3 and GCSE, adapting lessons to each student's learning style and goals.
I have extensive experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia, creating bespoke lessons that build both understanding and confidence.
What makes my tutoring different is my holistic approach. As a trained life skills and mindset coach and qualified yoga teacher, I can incorporate mindfulness and simple wellbeing techniques into sessions to support students experiencing maths anxiety, exam stress or low confidence.
My aim is not only to improve academic outcomes but also to help students become more resilient, independent and confident learners.
My Experience
- 13+ years' experience teaching Mathematics in UK state schools and leading international schools, working with a diverse range of learners, including students with SEND.
- 1 year of specialist 1:1 tuition, designing bespoke learning programmes for students with SEND, school anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance.
- 2 years as a qualified yoga and mindfulness teacher, supporting young people with wellbeing, confidence and emotional regulation.
- 1 year as a mindset and life skills coach, helping young people build resilience, confidence and positive learning habits.
My Qualifications
- PGCE Secondary Mathematics with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- BSc Economics and Mathematics
- Diploma in Inclusive Coaching (ICF aligned)
- 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training
- 50-hour Yin Yoga & Inclusive Yoga Teacher Training
- Enhanced DBS Clearance (current)
- Emergency First Aid at Work – Level 1
My Availability
Available Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 7pm
My Fees
- Tutoring from £45.00 per hour
Maths Tuition (KS2, KS3 & GCSE)
£45 per 60-minute session
All sessions are personalised to the learner and can include confidence-building strategies, mindfulness techniques and supportive approaches for students experiencing maths anxiety, exam stress or reduced confidence.
Bespoke Learning Support & Home Education
£60 per 60-minute session
For students requiring a more tailored programme of learning, including SEND support, project-based learning or additional support with independent learning skills.
Online and in-person sessions available. Discounts available for regular weekly sessions booked in blocks of 8.
