My Experience

I currently work one-to-one with children with autism and speech and language needs in a mainstream primary school, supporting learning, behaviour, emotional regulation and personal care where needed.

Alongside this, I volunteer with Body & Soul, a charity supporting children and families affected by long-term health conditions and other challenges. I provide one-to-one support for children attending the charity's children's centre, helping with emotional regulation, encouraging participation in activities, and building confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

I also previously volunteered as a helpline counsellor with Youthline New Zealand, supporting young people through active listening and emotional support.

My Qualifications

- Current Enhanced DBS check
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Current SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school
- Volunteer Children's Centre Support Assistant with Body & Soul
- Former Youthline New Zealand helpline counsellor
- Full UK Driving Licence

I can also offer maths and science tutoring alongside childcare, as well as homework support.

My Availability

I'm currently available throughout the school holidays for daytime childcare, babysitting and tutoring. Once the new school year begins, I'm hoping to continue with after-school care and evenings and weekends where my school hours allow. I'm happy to discuss both regular and occasional childcare.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
