I genuinely love spending time with children, whether that’s seeing them light up over something silly or feel proud after trying something new never gets old. I'm patient, calm, and good at reading what a child needs in the moment, whether that's energy and play or quiet reassurance. I'm big on routine and consistency, but I like keeping everyday moments such as meals, bath time and tidying up feel fun rather than like a chore. I treat every child as an individual and take time to actually get to know them.
I have worked with families of all different backgrounds through my nursery and school work. I am fluent in English and can hold conversation in Urdu and Hindi. Communication with parents matters a lot to me too, I want to work with you, not just for you. Above all, I want kids to feel safe, valued, and happy when they're with me.
My Experience
I'm a qualified teacher (QTS) with a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and a degree in Psychology with a focus on child development. I've worked as a Nursery Teacher, leading a team of Learning Support Assistants, and have experience across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 through school placements. I also have newborn experience, so I'm comfortable with very young babies as well as toddlers and older children. I also have experience as a night nanny when supporting a newborn.
I'm on the DBS Update Service, so my certificate is always current and easy to verify. I bring a genuine understanding of child development to everyday care, alongside real classroom experience in behaviour, routines, and learning support.
My Qualifications
I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Primary PGCE, plus a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification focused on children from birth to five. I also have a BSc in Psychology with a focus on child development. On top of this, I'm trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding, so I'm well prepared to keep children safe and respond confidently if anything comes up.
My Availability
Currently, I’m available for the odd days here and there. I will be available for full time after 31st August, term time only.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
While I have £18.00 per hour due to my experience, I am happy to negotiate.
