About Me
I am a trained primary school teacher, now working in KS3 at an SEMH school. I enjoy reading, sports and being outside as well as baking and crafts.
My Experience
I am a qualified teacher with over 7 years experience. I previously taught in a mainstream school in Year 5 before moving to work in an SEMH school where I teach KS3. I have a variety of experience across age groups and currently tutor two girls (seperately) moving from year 4 to year 5. Before teaching, I worked as an au pair in Asutralia during univeristy summer break.
I am looking to get more tutoring clients to build up my portfolio as well as offering babysitting services an/or support during weekends and school holidays.
My Qualifications
11 GCES A* - B including English, maths and science.
A levels - Sociology (A), Philosophy and Religion (A), English Literature (A), English Languge (B)
BA Hons Sociology - Durham Univeristy (2:2)
PGDE Leadership in Learning (Teach First) Merit with QTS
DBS check
NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture
First Aid at Work (Education)
My Availability
This is dependent on school holidays.
In term time - weekday evenings (time dependent) and weekends.
During holidays - can be discussed due to greater availability. Can be short notice.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £45.00 per hour
Negotiable depending on child
