About Me
Hi there! I’m Phoebe, I’m 29 and originally from Dublin. I have previous experience working as a babysitter and childminder in both Dublin and Berlin, caring for children from the ages of 6 months - 12 years.
After working in marketing, I’m now making a career shift into education and support work. I’m about to start a role at a music college supporting students with additional needs, and would love some childminding work alongside this.
I’m friendly, patient, responsible, and enjoy creating a safe and positive environment where children can have fun and be themselves! I’m happy to cook and support with homework. I’d love to hear from families who are looking for a caring and dependable babysitter.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children from 6 months to 12 years old. I began babysitting regularly from the age of 15 and gained a lot of experience caring for children throughout my teenage years and early adulthood. Since then, I have continued to provide occasional childcare support alongside my other professional roles.
My experience includes school pick-ups, supporting children with their routines, organising outdoor activities, creating creative and engaging activities, and preparing meals.
My Qualifications
I have extensive experience caring for children aged 6 months to 12 years old, having worked as a nanny/childcare provider in both Dublin and Berlin, as well as providing babysitting support over many years.
I am currently completing a DBS check for my upcoming role at a music college, where I will be supporting students with additional needs.
I have also completed a one-day child counselling course with Place2Be, which gave me further insight into children’s emotional wellbeing, communication, and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Childminding from £16.00 per hour
My standard babysitting rate is £16 per hour. Rates may vary depending on the hours required, number of children, and the type of support needed. I am happy to discuss evening, weekend, and regular bookings.
