My Summary
About Me
I am a warm and caring maternity nurse who provides nurturing, compassionate and practical support to newborn babies and their families. My calm and reassuring approach helps parents feel supported, rested and more confident during the important first weeks and months of their baby’s life.
I understand that every baby and family is different. I provide gentle care tailored to each family’s needs, preferences and routines.
My Experience
I have more than 20 years’ experience caring for babies and children, including private night-nanny work and supporting families with newborn care.
I can assist with feeding and expressing, safe breast-milk preparation and storage, bottle feeding, settling, bathing and establishing gentle feeding and sleep routines. I also offer reassurance, practical guidance and emotional support, helping parents understand their baby’s needs and grow in confidence.
I have experience caring for twins and babies who require additional support. My previous work as a healthcare assistant within NHS paediatric settings has also given me valuable experience in safe care, infection control, safeguarding, monitoring, accurate record-keeping and working sensitively with families.
My role is to support parents without judgement, build their confidence and establish practical routines suited to their baby and household.
