About Me
Hi, I’m Ebony! I’m a caring, enthusiastic and responsible childcare professional with experience caring for children from newborns through to 12 years old.
I have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development, confidence and wellbeing. I have previously worked in primary schools as a Teaching Assistant, giving me experience supporting children in an educational environment as well as understanding the importance of patience, communication and adapting to each child’s individual needs.
I’m currently studying online at university with the goal of building my career in childcare, and I’m looking to take on babysitting alongside my studies to further develop my practical experience, knowledge and confidence. I’m happy and comfortable caring for children of all ages, including newborns and babies, and understand that younger children require a particularly attentive, nurturing and safety-focused approach.
I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and loves creating a fun, positive and reassuring environment. Whether that’s playing and doing activities with younger children, supporting school-aged children with homework and routines, or simply making sure they feel happy, safe and listened to, I always put the child’s individual needs first.
I understand how important it is for parents to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for their children. I’m reliable, patient, trustworthy and approachable, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s child very seriously.
I’m hoping to build lasting relationships with families while gaining valuable experience that will support my future career in childcare. Most importantly, I want every child in my care to feel safe, valued and genuinely cared for. ??
My Experience
I have experience caring for children across a range of ages, from newborns through to 12 years old. I’m also a mum myself, so I have first-hand experience of caring for a baby, understanding routines, meeting individual needs and providing attentive, nurturing care.
I have worked in primary schools as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children aged 5–6 with their learning, activities, routines and individual needs. I have also volunteered within nursery settings, giving me experience caring for younger children and creating a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
Alongside my practical experience, I have completed relevant childcare training, including Children’s CPR, Children’s Care, Children’s Healthy Eating and Children’s Safety. I’m also currently studying online at university to further develop my childcare knowledge and work towards my future career in childcare.
I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages, including newborns, and I genuinely enjoy helping children feel safe, happy and confident. I’m looking to build on my existing experience through babysitting while continuing to develop my skills and knowledge in childcare.

My Availability
I’m flexible and available anytime. As I study online I can do that as and when and I can commit to helping families and children. I can’t offer before school just yet but im hoping I will be able to in September!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
