About Me
Hi, I am a gap year student who is hoping to gain more childcare experience before starting at Norland University of Early Years next September. I am an easy going, flexible individual who loves to get outside with the children and explore. When caring for younger children, I always write a daily diary to make sure parents are kept up to date with their child's care.
My Experience
I have experiencing babysitting numerous children aged 10 months+ both at night and during the day. For the past year, I have looked after a 1 year old and a 3 year during the holidays, which I have really enjoyed.
For 4 years I have worked as a gymnastics coach for children aged 3 years and older. This job has given me the unique opportunity to learn how to work with children in an enthusiastic and fun manner without compromising on safety or progression.
Since 2021, I have been volunteering as a young leader at Brownies, allowing me to develop relationships with children in a relaxed environment.
I also have experience working with children abroad, in both a French Summer Camp and schools in Tanzania. These experiences have shown me how remarkable children are in the way they see beyond language, whilst also giving me a unique insight into the different approaches to childcare around the world.
My Qualifications
I have completed TigerLily Full Paediatric First Aid Course.
