My Experience

I have over 4 years’ experience working as a qualified primary school teacher, teaching children aged 5–11 across a range of abilities and needs. I hold a First Class Honours degree in Primary Teaching with QTS and have extensive experience supporting children with their academic, social and emotional development.

Alongside my teaching career, I have been tutoring children for over 10 years on and off, providing one-to-one support in areas including maths, reading, writing, spelling, homework and general confidence-building.

I am also experienced in supporting children with SEND and adapting activities and communication to suit individual needs. Through both teaching and tutoring, I have developed a calm, patient and nurturing approach and am confident managing routines, behaviour and different personalities.

My professional experience means I am comfortable taking responsibility for children and creating a safe, engaging and positive environment where they can learn, play and feel supported.

My Availability

My Availability | September–December 2026

I am available for childcare and tutoring Monday–Friday, primarily during weekday evenings.

I also have some daytime availability, depending on my schedule, which may be suitable for daytime childcare, childminding-style support or tutoring.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £40.00 per hour

Services & Fees

I offer both babysitting and tailored educational support, with clear pricing depending on the level of input required.

Tutoring (Ages 5–11) – £40 per hour
These sessions are personalised to your child’s needs and can focus on reading, writing, maths, spelling, or general confidence-building. As a qualified primary school teacher, I adapt each session to suit your child’s learning style and current level, ensuring they feel supported and make progress.

SATs Preparation – £45 per hour
SATs sessions are more specialised and focused on preparing children for end-of-key-stage assessments. This includes targeted practice, exam-style questions, test techniques, and building confidence under timed conditions. The higher rate reflects the additional planning, resources, and expertise required to support your child effectively through this important stage.

Babysitting – £15 per hour
Babysitting provides safe, reliable care in a relaxed home environment. Alongside general care, I can also support with reading, homework, or bedtime routines where needed. As an experienced primary school teacher with an enhanced DBS, I offer a calm, trustworthy presence for your child. I also offer pick ups from certain schools if needed.
