My Experience

I have around two years of practical childcare experience through placements in both a private day nursery and a primary school, as well as experience working in a nursery and previous babysitting experience.

During my placements, I worked with children across different age groups and gained experience supporting children’s learning, development, wellbeing and everyday routines. I have also had specific experience supporting children with SEND, particularly children with autism and ADHD.

My experience has included supporting children during play and learning activities, helping with routines, encouraging communication and independence, supporting individual needs and creating a safe and positive environment.

I have also worked as part of childcare teams, which has helped me develop strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills. I understand the importance of safeguarding and maintaining professional boundaries when working with children.

My previous babysitting experience has also given me experience caring for children outside of a formal childcare setting and adapting to individual family routines and expectations.

My Qualifications

I hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare and am currently studying Education, Mental Health and SEND at university.

I also hold a First Aid certificate.

Through my childcare qualification, practical placements and university studies, I have developed knowledge and experience in child development, safeguarding, children’s wellbeing, learning and development and inclusive practice.

My practical experience has also given me specific experience supporting children with SEND.

I am happy to provide relevant qualification certificates, First Aid certification and DBS documentation where required.

My Availability

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is £14 per hour for one child.

For two or more children, I am happy to discuss an appropriate rate depending on the children’s ages, number of children and the level of care required.

I am also happy to discuss longer bookings, regular arrangements and additional responsibilities such as homework support, school/nursery collections and bedtime routines.

I aim to agree all fees and arrangements with parents in advance so that everything is clear before the booking takes place.
