About Me
Hello, I am a fully qualified teacher with specialist experience in Early Years Education, supporting children from birth to 5 years. I am passionate about helping children learn, develop and feel confident in their everyday routines, and I bring a calm, nurturing and highly organised approach to childcare.
I offer babysitting and nannying, support with establishing routines at home, school and nursery drop?offs and collections, and practical help for parents within the home environment. I can also provide engaging, age?appropriate activities that promote communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, early phonics, and all areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (Development Matters).
I am warm, reliable and attentive, and I aim to make childcare enjoyable, purposeful and tailored to each child’s individual needs. My goal is always to create a safe, positive and enriching environment where children can thrive.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of teaching experience in primary schools, working with children aged 2–8 years. As a fully qualified teacher, I have supported children across Early Years and Key Stage 1, helping them develop strong foundations in communication, language, early literacy, social skills and emotional confidence.
Alongside my school experience, I also have 3 years of hands?on experience working in a private nursery with children aged 6 months to 4 years. This has given me a deep understanding of infant and toddler development, routines, attachment, and age?appropriate learning through play.
My combined school and nursery background means I am confident caring for children from infancy through early childhood, supporting routines, behaviour, learning, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
My Qualifications
Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS)
Specialist training and experience in Early Years Education (birth–5 years)
Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Development Matters
Enhanced DBS Check
Phonics training and experience of delivering early phonics
Safeguarding and child protection training
Experience supporting children with additional needs
Strong understanding of child development from 6 months to 8 years
Skilled in establishing routines, behaviour support and early learning
Confident in planning age?appropriate educational activities

- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
- Nannying from £33.00 per hour (gross)
As a fully qualified teacher with specialist Early Years experience, I provide a warm, engaging and safe environment for your child, alongside high?quality educational support tailored to their developmental needs. My fees reflect both my childcare expertise and the additional learning opportunities I offer.

Rates vary depending on the specific expectations, hours and tasks required, and I am happy to discuss this with each family individually.
Please note that additional costs such as parking, travel expenses, and any trips or outings (e.g., playgroups, parks, activities) will be agreed in advance and covered by the family.
