My Summary
About Me
I am a qualified teacher with experience supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. As a mum of three children, all aged over 16, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment in which children can thrive.
I offer flexible nannying tailored to each family's needs, helping to create a healthy balance between family life and other commitments. I also provide personalised tutoring, adapting my approach to suit each child's individual needs, abilities and pace of learning.
My approach is caring, empathetic and nurturing, with a strong focus on building confidence, developing self-awareness and supporting children's emotional well-being and independence. I recognise that every child is unique and believe in the importance of understanding their individual personality, routines and environment.
I am passionate about working in partnership with parents and families to help children feel valued, supported and confident as they learn, grow and achieve their milestones. My aim is to provide consistent, tailored support that allows every child to reach their potential at their own pace.
My Experience
As a qualified teacher with over 15 years of experience working with children from early years through to secondary education, I bring a strong foundation in child development, education and individualised support. I am dedicated to applying my knowledge and experience to promote children's well-being, learning and development in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
I am committed to maintaining and developing my professional knowledge through ongoing training and continuing professional development (CPD). I am currently undertaking refresher courses across a range of childcare and child development topics, covering all stages from birth to adolescence. These include infant weaning, sleep routines and teenage mental health.
My DBS and paediatric first aid certification have both expired (paper copies available to view). I am currently in the process of renewing and updating these qualifications to be able to become Ofsted registered.
