About Me
My name is Maaria, I’m a caring, friendly and responsible person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I’m patient, approachable and love creating a fun and positive environment where children feel comfortable, safe and supported. I’m currently studying Paediatric Nursing, so caring for children is something I’m very passionate about. I’m reliable and take pride in being someone parents can feel comfortable and confident leaving their children with. My Experience
I have been working in a nursery since 2020, giving me several years of hands on experience caring for children and supporting their development and day to day needs.Alongside my nursery experience, I’m currently studying Paediatric Nursing, which has given me further knowledge and practical experience in children’s health, safety, development and wellbeing.
Through my experience, I have developed strong skills in communicating with children, supporting routines, planning activities, encouraging learning through play and creating a safe and nurturing environment. I’m comfortable caring for children of different ages and understand that every child has their own individual needs and personality.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying Paediatric Nursing at university, which has provided me with knowledge and practical experience in child health, development, safeguarding, wellbeing and providing safe, person centred care. I have also gained several years of childcare experience alongside my studies through working in a nursery since 2020. This has helped me develop a strong understanding of children’s individual needs and how to support their learning, development and daily routines. My nursing studies and nursery experience complement each other and have given me both theoretical knowledge and practical experience when caring for children.
My Availability
I’m available for babysitting during evenings, weekends and around my university schedule. I’m flexible and happy to discuss regular or one-off childcare, depending on the family’s needs. My availability can vary from week to week, so I’m happy to arrange dates and times in advance.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My childcare fees start from £13 per hour. Rates may vary depending on the number of children, hours required and the type of childcare needed. I’m happy to discuss individual requirements and agree a rate with each family.
