My Experience

I have extensive experience working with children in Early Years, nursery and school settings, including children with Special Educational Needs and complex needs. I have cared for and supported children of different ages, including babies and young children, with responsibilities such as feeding, changing, toileting, play, learning activities, personal care and supporting daily routines.

I have experience creating engaging activities, supporting children’s communication and emotional development, and adapting activities to suit individual needs. I have worked with communication systems including PECS, Makaton, visual timetables, communication boards and Widgit symbols. I am also experienced in supporting sensory needs and working alongside families and other professionals.

I hold a DBS check and First Aid training, have my own car and a full driving licence. I am responsible, patient and safety-conscious, and I always aim to provide children with a warm, positive and supportive experience.

My Qualifications

I have a strong background in childcare and Early Years, with extensive experience supporting children in nursery and school settings, including children with Special Educational Needs. I have studied Children’s Nursing at the University of Wolverhampton, gaining valuable knowledge and practical experience working with children, including placement experience within a hospital setting.

I have experience supporting children’s learning, development, communication, emotional wellbeing and personal care. I am trained in First Aid and have an enhanced DBS check. I also have practical experience using Makaton, PECS, visual communication systems, Widgit symbols and sensory approaches to support children with additional needs.

I hold a full UK driving licence and have my own car. My professional experience in Early Years and SEN has given me a strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, communication and creating safe, nurturing environments for children.

My Availability

I offer flexible childcare including daytime, evening and weekend babysitting. I am happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare requirements and can be flexible around families’ needs where possible. I am available to provide childcare for children from newborn through to the end of primary school, including children with Special Educational Needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My babysitting rate starts from £15 per hour. My rate reflects my professional childcare experience, Early Years and SEN experience, DBS check and First Aid training. Rates can be discussed depending on the number and ages of children, the type of childcare required and any additional responsibilities. I am happy to discuss individual requirements with each family and agree the rate in advance.
