My Experience
I am a 25-year-old aspiring Clinical Psychologist with a first-class degree in Psychology, including modules in child development.
Since 2019, I have been an active volunteer with Over The Wall, supporting and leading summer camps for children with physical health conditions, neurodiversity and learning disabilities.
I previously worked for a year as a Bank Child Support Worker, providing support across a range of children’s homes. This experience allowed me to work with children and young people with diverse needs, adapt quickly to different environments and routines, and develop strong skills in building positive relationships, providing emotional support, and maintaining safeguarding responsibilities
Professionally, I have over two years’ experience working as an Assistant Psychologist with adults with learning disabilities, alongside a further year of experience supporting adults with autism and/or acquired brain injuries.
I am easy-going, responsible and passionate about supporting children to feel safe, confident and understood. I love the outdoors and am very sporty, and would hope to encourage children to explore the natural world through play!
Through both my professional and voluntary experience, I have developed a strong understanding of individual needs and the importance of adapting my approach to each person. I have a particular interest in supporting children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and would love the opportunity to bring my experience, enthusiasm and caring nature to a babysitting role.
