My Experience

I have experience babysitting for families in my local area, looking after children of different ages and making sure they are safe, happy and entertained. Growing up as the eldest of seven children has also given me a huge amount of hands-on experience caring for younger children and understanding their individual needs. One of my siblings is severely disabled, which has taught me patience, responsibility and the importance of adapting care to suit each child. I’m comfortable helping with meals, bedtime routines, activities and general childcare, and I understand the trust parents place in someone looking after their children.

My Qualifications

Although I don’t currently hold a formal childcare qualification, I have developed a great deal of practical experience through babysitting and caring for children within my own family. I performed well throughout my GCSEs and went on to complete a Level 3 Extended Diploma at college, achieving strong results across my course. I’m currently studying at university, where I continue to develop my organisation, communication and time-management skills. I’m also a very quick learner and take responsibility seriously, so I’m always willing to learn new routines, requirements and skills to make sure I provide the best possible care for each family.
