My Experience

Growing up in a large family of 11 children has given me plenty of hands-on experience caring for younger children of different ages and personalities.

I have helped supervise younger children, prepare meals and snacks, organise activities, help with homework and schoolwork, and support everyday routines such as mealtimes and bedtime. I’m comfortable keeping children entertained at home through reading, games, arts and crafts and other age-appropriate activities.

I can cook and prepare simple meals and snacks, and I’m also happy to tidy up after meals and activities, wash up and take care of light cleaning relating to the children. I understand how helpful it is for parents to come home to a calm environment rather than another mess to deal with.

I’m patient, responsible and attentive and take parents’ instructions seriously. I’m happy to follow established routines around food, screen time, homework, activities and bedtime rather than changing what already works for your family.

Safety is particularly important to me. I have completed Child & Infant Awareness eLearning with St John Ambulance Cymru and Safeguarding Children Level 1 & 2 training to build on my practical experience.

Although I’m currently building my professional babysitting experience and local references, caring for children is not unfamiliar to me. I’d be happy to speak with parents beforehand, learn about their child’s individual needs and routines, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before the first booking.

My Availability

My availability includes:

• Weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings
• Before-school and after-school care
• Weekends, both daytime and evenings
• Date-night and evening babysitting
• School holidays
• Last-minute bookings where possible
• Longer daytime bookings where needed

I’m happy to consider both regular arrangements with the same family and occasional babysitting when parents need an extra pair of hands.

My schedule is currently flexible, so please feel free to message me with the days and times you need and I’ll do my best to accommodate your family.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My babysitting rate is £13 per hour. I’m currently offering this as an introductory rate while I build my professional babysitting experience and local references. My rate is the same for daytime and evening babysitting.
