My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children through Swim Enfield since 2023, initially assisting with swimming lessons before progressing to delivering my own classes. I have worked with children of different ages and abilities, including beginners and children with SEN, both in groups and one-to-one. My role requires constant supervision, clear communication, patience and a strong focus on safety. I regularly adapt activities to suit individual children and communicate with parents about their child’s progress. I have also completed experience within a primary-school environment.

My Qualifications

I hold an SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant qualification and have completed health and safety and safeguarding training through my swimming-teaching experience. I am currently studying BSc Economics at the University of Nottingham. I achieved A-levels in Economics (B), History (B) and Mathematics (C), alongside strong GCSE results including English Literature (8), Mathematics (7), Combined Science (8-8) and English Language (6). I also received an Enfield High Achievers Award for my GCSE results and a Languages Award. My education means I am also confident supporting children with homework and general learning alongside childcare.
