About Me
Hello! My name is Margo, I grew up in Kyiv, Ukraine and moved out to pursue studies in 2022. Spent three months living in Europe (Vienna, London, Edinburgh) while learning English and German, sitting my entrance uni exams and making some pocket money while meeting professors working across multiple universities (Oxford, Imperial, Vienna National, Edinburgh). Started my MPhys Theoretical Physics degree in September 2022 and have been living in Edinburgh ever since. I share my flat with two of my friends, both of whom had great experience babysitting, hence, I'm here :)
My Experience
I have looked after my niece sinse she has been 5-6 years old (I am 10 years older). Hours depended on the needs of her parent: her mom has worked as a reporter/ journalist and often had to leave for work on short notice. I would mostly come in to fill in on household chores (cooking prep, cleaning niece's room and kitchen) while playing with my niece. She didn't require any tutoring until about 6th grade when algebra, geometry and physics start in school. I would do mostly physics homework with her (got to put that degree to a good use). I did this on demand until I moved out, only a few times every year, but i still get calls about homework.
My Qualifications
I do not have any experience in baby-sitting for hire, hence for now my qualifications are based on my education(MPhys Theoretical Physics), I speak English, Ukrainian and a bit of German, and understand a few of slavic group languages. Play piano and read music(fairly badly) and draw in multiple mediums (watercolors, graphic, digital etc) and would be happy to teach/ bring along the materials. I also love crafting stuff and have lots of supplies I use daily for my own projects.
My Availability
My pre-semester schedule is free (up until late September). Semester availability would depend on course schedules (some days free after 14/15 somdays after 18) and free weekends.

- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
