My Experience

I have extensive experience caring for children through babysitting, working in a nursery and working as a Teaching Assistant. I have supported children of different ages with their daily routines, learning, play and development. I also have valuable experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), which has strengthened my patience, understanding and ability to adapt to individual needs. As a mother of two, I also have many years of hands-on experience caring for children and understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. I am confident with meal preparation, activities, homework, school routines, bedtime routines and general supervision. I always aim to build positive and trusting relationships with both children and their families.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualification, which has provided me with the knowledge and practical skills to respond appropriately to emergencies involving babies and children. I also hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Preparing to Work in Home-Based Childcare, giving me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, health and safety, and providing high-quality childcare within a home environment. These qualifications, combined with my practical childcare and SEN experience, allow me to provide children with safe, responsible and supportive care.
