About Me
I am a friendly and organised person who has years of experience working with children in 1-to-1 settings, as a childcare practitioner in daycare and afterschool capacities, and as an activity coordinator for children aged 3-12 during summer holiday camps. I can clean, cook, design activity programmes, and manage tricky moments and wobbles day or night.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 10 years, as a babysitter, childcare practitioner, pre-school, KS1 & 2 activity coordinator. I have assisted and managed art workshops for a variety of children across London at afterschool clubs, during in-term classes, and at weekend parties. I am experienced in making and preparing nutritious, delicious meals for children, and am adept at intolerence and allergy-friendly cooking. In addition, I am a regular pet-sitter and dogwalker, and am happy to take on appropriate domestic duties inline with childcare responsibilities.
My Qualifications
I have a BA in English Literature, an MA in Art&Curation (with an emphasis on public and children's education in the arts). I also possess an Enhanced DBS, the Safeguarding Children (Advanced) Level 2 V4.4, GDPR Data Protection and Information Security Training and Introduction to Safeguarding (National Trust) Monitered Course as of June 2026
My Availability
I am available in the day Mon-Fri and Evenings Mon-Thurs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
I charge £11/hour Mon-Fri during the day, and £13/hour after 11pm at nights.
I ask for reimbursment of substantial food and transport costs, but will cover snacks and small activities.
