Hi! I’m Phoebe, a qualified primary school teacher with QTS and experience working with children across a range of primary school settings. I’m a friendly, caring and reliable person who genuinely enjoys working with children and creating a fun, safe and positive environment for them.
I’m currently completing my ECT year through supply teaching, which means I have a flexible schedule and can offer childcare around my teaching commitments. I’m available for babysitting, evening and weekend childcare, as well as occasional daytime care when I’m not working in a school.
I’m happy to support with activities, play, reading, homework and general routines such as meals and bedtime. My experience as a teacher means I’m confident managing different ages and personalities while making sure children feel comfortable, supported and entertained.
I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured when leaving their children with someone, and I would always aim to provide a dependable and caring service tailored to each family’s needs.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with QTS and have extensive experience working with children through my teacher training, school placements and supply teaching roles. I have worked with children across a range of primary school year groups and have experience supporting different ages, abilities and individual needs.
Through my teaching experience, I have developed strong skills in communication, behaviour management, organisation and creating positive relationships with children. I am confident planning and supporting activities, helping with homework and reading, and creating fun and engaging experiences.
I am also experienced in working closely with other adults in school settings and understand the importance of keeping children safe, happy and well cared for. I am patient, friendly, responsible and adaptable, and I always aim to make children feel comfortable and supported.

My Availability
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My standard rate is £13.00 per hour for one child. I am happy to discuss rates for additional children, longer bookings or childcare that involves additional responsibilities such as school runs, homework support or evening routines. I aim to keep my fees fair and affordable while providing a reliable, professional and caring service.
